One of the most unique experiences I've ever lived. Sensational. Mr. Trent, our guide, made all the difference. Punctual, sociable, intelligent, polite, kind and has an excellent knowledge of Maori culture. Careful in the direction and perfect in dealing with us. All along he provided information about the climate, vegetation, geography, culture, customs and various curiosities. He did everything he could even to help a member of the group who had a small accident with a fall. He was equipped with first aid and provided all necessary assistance possible. The places were amazing, the cost was appropriate and the time helped but I repeat, the guide (Trent) made all the difference. I already know more than 70 countries and have made many tours around the world, this was undoubtedly one of the best! Super recommend the tour with Cheeky Kiwi and especially with Mr. Trent!

GREAT TOUR WITH TRENT !
One of the most unique experiences I have ever had! The places are amazing and the tour was GREAT! Specially because of our guide, Mr. Trent! Friendly, educated, clever and gentle! Always giving informations about everything on the way and also giving full attention to the group. He knows a lot about Maori culture and history. He drove us carefully and was always with us helping as much as possible. Smileful and really enjoying staying with us and taking care of the group. He even mede quick stops at a few other places on the way that were not included on the tour to show us some nice spots and give us more information. All the activities happened in a perfect way because of him. I highly recommend this tour with Cheeky Kiwi and specially with Mr. Trent as a guide! He loves what he does and he does it very well!!! Tim of the Long Mane picked us up at Adina Brittomart & took us to Hobbiton to visit Hobbitholes & have a flagon at the Green Dragon. Then it was off to Te Puia Rotorua to watch the earth spew! He is a great guide who loves his job and relates to his passengers more like new friends. The trip was terrific and we enjoyed the day! We spent just the right amount of time at each venue and Tim kept us entertained even during the long drives. Knowledgeable & funny! Took us to a great little town to see the corrugated steel art & have some local ice cream! Definitely a big recommendation to Cheeky Kiwi & Tim! The only issue I had with Tim was that I was jealous of his hair! Just kidding 🤣😂🤣 chadsamelsieberni
I had an AMAZING two days of travel from Queenstown to Greymouth with Cheeky Kiwi Travel. I did the Queenstown to Franz Josef with Shuz as the driver/guide on day one. Shuz was a wealth of knowledge and just the nicest guide. Anyone who gets her as their driver/guide will be very lucky. My favorite part about this day trip was that I got to stop and walk/see a lot of places. This trip let me tour this part of the country while also getting to my next location. Taking the bus wouldn't have given me that kind of experience. I still got over 10,000 steps while in the van from 7am to 6pm! It was a truly beautiful day even with the sandflies.
On the next day, I did the Franz Josef to Greymouth. A couple of the same people were on that but another really great thing about Cheeky Kiwi is that you can customize your trip. I booked through Viator but when booking directly you can organize different options to help make planning easier.
My second day was just as great and Cosmo was the driver/guide for it. He was heading all the way to Christchurch but as I mentioned you can personalize your trip so I got off in Greymouth and took the TranzAlpine train to Christchurch a couple days later.
I hope to do more traveling with Cheeky Kiwi b/c I had such a great experience! Shuz and Cosmo were great guides/drivers and the buses were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
